Duties
- Decorate and finish round, sheet, wedding, and specialty cakes for a high-volume bakery. Cakes are either custom or pre-set cakes for our retail and commercial needs
- Create visually appealing designs using various cake decorating techniques
- Ensure that all cakes are finished and presented in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
Required Skills
- Previous experience in cake decorating or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in cake design
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple orders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Able to work weekends and holidays
